Bedroom DJ Dj Blush

With her eclectic sets, DJ Blush proves that a club DJ is not limited to the overplayed thumping techno beat. Her influences bounce around from experimental founding fathers Kraftwerk, to the oversampled Daft Punk spun with the synthpop merriment of Depeche Mode, strung with the indie sounds of groups like Le Tigre and The Gossip.

Dj Blush´s tunes will be featured on during February, thanks to Mark Whitby.
"In his February show, Mark rummages through a pile of the best music sprouting from the already fertile loins of 2008 and yields a playlist including the Mountain Goats, Gerry Mitchell and Little Sparta, Psychedelic Horseshit and Yip Yip.There's also a not-too-reflective glance over the shoulder at the best new bands of the previous year as featured in his "Listen To Me" top ten, leaving us moist with anticipation with unreleased gems from the likes of BL4ND, 2 Hot 2 Sweat and We Are Spirit, and a debut single from Dalmatian Rex and the Eigentones. On the retrospective side, there's the usual plundering of the festive fifty archives for three tracks from the number three town or city for music in the UK as well as a reissued classic from the Cherry Red label.Mark also features a selection from the Pixie's Palace web group, including a collaboration from the queen herself, Pixieguts, with Dementio13, and tracks from Brazil's Dj Blush, Italy's Sicilian AV Project and Sheffield's Adrian Carter."
You can´t miss it !
